Manila, Philippines – June 6, 2025 – The Xi Kappa Sigma International Fraternity and Sorority has initiated a significant community outreach program in Manila, blending festive goodwill with vital disaster relief. This comprehensive effort includes the distribution of free food packs at the Manila Golden Mosque in anticipation of the upcoming Eid’l Adha celebration, and extends to providing food, clothes, and other essential aid to fire victims in Manila Muslim Town, Quiapo.

The organization also previously led a free Ramadan iftar program at the Manila Golden Mosque and Islamic Center, further demonstrating its commitment to community support.

Reflecting the organization’s core vision, mission, and objectives, this collaborative program is sponsored by the National Executive Council, NCR Regional Council, prominent alumni, Omega FEATI Chapter, and Kappa MLQU Chapter.

National President Brod. Lim and NCR Regional Chairman Brod. Mantoyan are spearheading this comprehensive initiative. “We are committed to serving our communities, especially during times of need and celebration,” stated Brod. Lim. “This program embodies our dedication to brotherhood, sisterhood, and social responsibility.” Brod. Mantoyan added, “Our hearts go out to our Muslim brothers and sisters, both in celebrating Eid’l Adha and in assisting those affected by the recent fire. We believe in immediate and tangible support.”

The food pack distribution at the Manila Golden Mosque aims to share in the joy of Eid’l Adha with the Muslim community. Concurrently, the efforts in Manila Muslim Town, Quiapo, address the urgent needs of fire victims, providing much-needed relief in the form of sustenance, clothing, and other vital supplies to help them rebuild their lives.
