Pre-Membership Educational Proficiency Seminar (PEPS)

(Do and Dont’s)

Do:

  • Learn as much as you can about the fraternity history, traditions, and meaning of your fraternity and it’s mottos and secrets
  • Do, be the best pledge brother you can be to your pledge class. They’ll be around forever, your whole life. You’ll live and die by them.
  • Do get to know the brothers as well as possible. Get to know as many as possible.
  • Grow in your relationships and social skills, your academic and social skills, leadership skills and whatever you can
  • Attempt to take up a leadership benefit where you have the skills to benefit the house, or try to improve your house and chapter in anyway possible
  • Fraternities are what you make out of it, you can get so much from the experience
  • Represent your local and national house well, live up to the creed and values. Don’t be an idiot and misrepresent them

Don’t:

  • Trade away your values
  • Go against your fraternities values and creeds
  • Just go through the motions and go under the radar during pledgeship.
